Pusher Street used to be a funky little stretch of road at the port of Christiania. Since it was shut down by the police a couple of years ago it's turned into a squalid stretch populated by shifty small-time dealers and their muscle dogs...an altogether bad vibe. So give it a miss!

Went there during xmas time and wanted to check out the xmas market at the Pusher street. It was more than a little shady and we stayed in there only for about 15-20 minutes and then we decided to go back to more familiar roads.
Maybe if you are bohemic this is the place for you. But not for me...

Don't listen to roumers but experience Pusher Street for yourself. It's a safe and interesting experience for tourists.

This part of christiania is unpleasent with photo restrictions and a rough atmosphere. stay away if you are not into drugs.

This is a very unpleasant place. Forgive my new-agey review, but there are extremely bad vibes here.
The times I've been to Christiania for concerts or to visit friends, I've really felt unsafe walking down this street and seeing so many disaffected teen-agers and very unsavory types.

Pot is tolerated in Denmark, especially on pusher street. However, the cops do go in there now & then and raid them. One can buy not only pot, but also all kinds of funny souvenirs and typical Danish food. It's peaceful but be careful, there are thieves too.

Christania is one thing - Pusher street another. Pusherstreet is a path in Christania where you can purchase hashes in all shapes. it is not legal at all, but contaminated in this location - and quite a tourist magnet... it is about 50 meteres with shelters and fire drums - mysterious dealers - not much if you ask me. better...

Pusher Street is basically a few meters of badly maintained wooden houses where tourist are able to buy marijuana.

When you pass through the sign that tells you that you are leaving the EU and are welcomed by a sign that says the rules are- no hard drugs, no photos and no running you could get pretty scared.
