It is over course nice to have walked by the statue of H C Andersen, but I am not sure that walking extra steps for seeing it would have been worth it. It is a fairly "ordinary" statue in bronze and it won't take your breath away. Sure, if you are a HC Andersen fan it migth be worth it.

I had to see & take pictures with my favortie fairy tales' author. So did many people. Come early in the morning, when the crouds are not insane. Great location! Bought a mini statue for my desk :)

If you have time to stroll through Copenhagen, definitely go through Kong's Have (King's Garden), and see the statue to H.C. Andersen, who is beloved by Danes!!!!
