We did the tour (in English) and it was one of the main highlights of our visit to Copenhagen. Admittedly it was a beautifully sunny summer day, but It is well worth a visit.

There are loads of exciting new architecture in Copenhagen and the opera house is definitely one of them.
Went there around noon by bus, expecting to at least see a little bit of the interior and get something from the gift shop, surprisingly its doors were not open!!!

The opera house is difficult to reach, i missed the waterbus and had to take a cab, I paid for the cab from the center nearly the same price i pay to get to the airport - amazing.
i bought ticket in parterre, but the seats a located just behind each other and the height difference is not that big....

It was amazing. Anybody who likes to watch opera should definetly see this building. Very modern construction, unbelievable atmosphere and very goo acoustics. I watched R. Wagner's Parsifal (5 hours of opera) there and I'm amazed.

Try and get a ticket for any performance in this fantastic new Opera House situated directly across the water from Amalienborg Palace and readily accessible by regular ferry from Nyhavn. Online bookings are very easy and (if you stand) cheap. The productions are fully "Danish-perfect" with excellent sets, lighting, dancing and singing.
