We did the tour (in English) and it was one of the main highlights of our visit to Copenhagen. Admittedly it was a beautifully sunny summer day, but It is well worth a visit. More

There are loads of exciting new architecture in Copenhagen and the opera house is definitely one of them. Went there around noon by bus, expecting to at least see a little bit of the interior and get something from the gift shop, surprisingly its doors were not open!!! Still, it's amazing to see (the exterior of) such a masterpiece by... More

It was amazing. Anybody who likes to watch opera should definetly see this building. Very modern construction, unbelievable atmosphere and very goo acoustics. I watched R. Wagner's Parsifal (5 hours of opera) there and I'm amazed. More

Try and get a ticket for any performance in this fantastic new Opera House situated directly across the water from Amalienborg Palace and readily accessible by regular ferry from Nyhavn. Online bookings are very easy and (if you stand) cheap. The productions are fully "Danish-perfect" with excellent sets, lighting, dancing and singing. More

I went to the Opera House to see a Danish ballet named "Et Folkesagn" (A Folk Tale). I wanted to see something I could only see in Denmark, and I certainly did! The ballet was about some strange creatures like elfs and trolls living their secret lives near people, and it was not only dancing but more acting, as in... More

When you are in Copenhagen, and love Opera you should try to get tickets for one of the many opera's played here. The Opera House is fantastic, both the architecture and the acoustic is gorgeous. You can also have your dinner here. The serving is planned after the actual opera played. The house is rather new. It was donated by... More
