This is one very impressive castle. It has huge ramparts with some being over 20 feet thick. The views are also stunning. This castle was the setting for Shakespeare's Hamlet and sometimes they do performances of Hamlet there. Sadly, I didn't get to see the inside of the castle due to time constraints. However from outside the castle look really lovely, tourists who ever visited castles in France, in the Loire valley, will definitely find it a bit boring. A trip to Helsingor takes about 45 minutes on the train from Copenhagen, and the walk to Kronborg is not too far from the train station. The castle is impressive.
