Surprisingly small range of exhibits ,given size of building.Well set out and worth a visit if you like modern art/photography. Good coffee shop. Side benefit is that it is next the quay where all the cruise ships dock...good people watching !! More

Fotografiska is pretty interesting. When I was there, I saw an exhibit of work by a woman who builds elaborate miniature sets and then photographs them and combines them with photos of children and animals. It was fairly surreal, but interesting. Also saw an exhibit of work by Steve Schapiro, but I think that has closed now. The museum also... More

Fotografiska is an "easy to get" photo art exhibition hall, well worth a visit if you are the least interrested in this kind of art. More

Whether you are or not interested in photography you MUST pay a visit to Fotografiska. Different exhibitions going on at all times, from cinema to modern print to visual experiments. Once you're done with the expos you can still stop by the shop: full of books and gadget it's a good alternative to buy some cool souvenirs. And if you're... More

This is a unique place. At least for me it was. So much pleasure of photography gathered in one place. Different excebitions, properly illuminated. The only distraction is a little bit annoying amount of tourists from time-to time, which does not let to concentrate on the things you came to look for there. This place is mostly for the "involved", but... More

Loved this museum. It was recommended by a local. Apparently the cafe is popular with both locals and visitors for the views and great food. I was glad decided to eat lunch there during my visit. The exhibits were wonderful and relevant. A must see for anyone who likes photography. Plan to enjoy lunch or coffee in the cafe to... More

The curators of this place have excellent taste, and the exhibitions are very good. Like everything in Sweden, the prices are definitely not for the fainthearted - the equivalent of more than 12 euros to get in - but it is worth it IF you are really into photography and/or modern art. If not maybe you should take a pass;... More
