I was so impressed by this museum, from the content to the building itself. I had never even heard of this museum. It house a perfectly preserved Swedish warship that sank in the early 1600's. Because of the brackish water in the harbor, it remained preserved. They have created a truly fascinating museum centred on the salvaged and restored 17th century flagship, which had sunk on its maiden voyage. The museum provides a stimulating insight into life at the time and what it was like on board such a ship.
