I visited Dottningholm in the last summer and I loved it. In my opinion Dottningholm Palace and Court Theater are the most beautiful turist attraction in Stockholm. The palace is beautiful, the theater is a gift for turists and the garden is fantastic! Evereybody should visit. more
The area of Drottningholm is quite beautiful and the palace is very interesting. Compared with Versailles, it can't match its french counterpart, but nevertheless this is a beautiful palace. This Palace is better than any other palace's we visited in Stockholm.Very clean, its huge, you got a lovely garden and green area plus there is a theatre which is amazingly beautiful and filled with character! Bravo more

The palace is magnificent. Much better to spend the money to see this one than the Royal Palace on Gamla Stan. We didn't know what to expect and were thrilled we went. If you are an opera fan, you HAVE to visit Drottningholm! The Court Theatre at Drottningholm is the oldest surviving theatre in Europe. Built in 1766, it still contains the original stage machinery, all operated by hand.
