I headed next door to the Nordic Museum after spending a few hours at the excellent Vasa Museum.
The building is impressive and the free audio tour is a great addition. The exhibits range from the very interesting (Sami culture, Swedish design throughout history, Swedish holiday traditions) to the skipable (flag exhibit, modern crafts exhibit). I spent about two hours...

The museum is not too big nor too small. Just had a walk around where I saw the exhibition about the dining set in sweden through the centuries. A bit fancy but interesting. The museum is huge, and filled with some very interesting and varied collections. Lots of historical pieces from the Nordic lifestyle. It takes a couple hours to see everything but pretty cheap for everything you see. Cool if you got a couple days in town

Exhibitions change all the time. We saw a lot of exhibitions about furniture, indigenous people,...

We arrived muffled up to the eyes as it was below -10 so it was great to avail of the free lockers ( you pay but get your money back) on the lower ground floor and offload our coats etc. Then using the audio guide my husband and I spent about...
