We have an unfortunate tendency to visit Uppsala in the winter, when the garden is closed, but on a rare spring trip it was great! As a natural history biologist, it's really cool to see all the scientific names on the labels in the gardens followed by "L", and being there where L did most of his work.

Went here on a rainy day in Uppsala, but this is still an excellent garden area that is as organized and diverse as it is pretty. Just down the hill from Uppsala Castle, from which you get a nice view of the gardens. It appears the gardens were prepring for an expansion later this year. Garden was in full bloom...
