Now that the Wheel of Gothenburg is located in Liseberg (the largest amusement park in Scandanavia) you benefit from a birds-eye view of the main conference, science museum and university area. When I visited in March 2011, the Wheel was along the harbor and you could see all the downtown has to offer. My favorite was the roof-top play ground!

Never been on a big ferris wheel but my girlfriend and I couldn't resist.

I have visited the Wheel of gothenburg (Göteborgshjulet) twice now. The view is great of course! And the ride is for about 10-15 minutes. But other than that, this is just yet another ferris wheel.
