This museum may come as a positive surprise for some visitors. It has an excellent collection of European and especially Scandinavian art. In the so called Fürstenberg gallery, which was originally a private collection, some of the most famous Scandinavian painters like Ernst Josephson, Carl Larsson, PS Krøyer och Anders Zorn, are included. there are couple of the requisite Van Goch, Picasso, Monet, Manet works and some interesting work from the Rembrandt school, but nothing really wow. Also some renaissance paintings.
