A little slice of heaven in the middle of the city. Much larger than I had anticipated, there are several trails, large grassy areas to picnic on, and even a waterfall. Extremely peaceful and quiet here- loved it. More

My friends and I usually go for picnic at the garden. Beautiful flowers, landscapes, and greeneries that will capture the screens of your camera and leave you the best impression of Sweden´s beautiful nature. More

We were visiting the city & on our 1st afternoon there we took a walk and notice this park & were surprise to find this treasure. Being early May there were some tulips already flowering. Well worth a visit any time of the year. I don't know if they charge admission. While we were there it was late afternoon &... More

This is one of my favorite botanical gardens in the Nordic countries. Large and well organised, with great variety of species, excellent glass houses, beautiful waterfall and rock gardens, cozy cafe. More

If you are interested in anything remotely related to anything that has to do with botany (flowers, trees, etc.), this is the place to go. It is supposed to be one of the best and largest botanical gardens in Northern Europe. One part of the garden is arranged a traditional botanical garden and one part is wilder and stretches far... In this botanical garden there are a huge number of plants collected from all over the world during hundreds of years. There is almost always something interesting and beatiful to see in this garden. If you have at least some interest in gardening or botany you will not be disappointed. More

A really big botanical garden with a good selection of trees and shrubs. Rhododendrons are a specialty and the garden has a big selection of them, only climate limiting. There is also a very big wild garden associated with outplanted exotic trees in woodlike clumps. The garden is very popular for walking and looking att plants and they have also... More

No interest in the Gardens in Winter except for the palm house which was originally based on the London Crystal Palace. Looking a bit neglected now and no tropical birds left. More
