This was our 1st skiing holiday and I have to say we weren't disappointed, Ruka is amazing! A 30 min bus journey from Kuusamo airport and you are right in the village. Ruka is only 20 minutes away on the bus from Kuusamo airport. It is a fantastic resort. There is almost no queuing time for the lifts. Most of the time you ski/board right to the lift with nobody in front of you. There are plenty of runs from beginner to expert. The snow quality is amazing. You should check out...
