There is something to see/do for everyone. I enjoyed every minute I was there. The cafeteria is also very good and not expensive at all.

Nice building and very interesting display of the life in the region. Combines different aspects of flora, fauna, anthropology and science. Many exhibits are hands on so you can experience things - a great fun for kids! A must if you are in Rovaniemi!

This is a spacious museum which also serves as venu for special meetings as well. The exhibits are limited but still very informative about history and ethnography of Finland. You get to learn a lot about both wild life and Sami people in Finland. The audio visual projection at the end of the tour where you get to see very...

Anybody who is interested in Lapland and its people should visit the museum and not only look at the pictures but also read the panels with their history and explanations.

The exhibits covered very briefly the evolution of finland from the ice age until now but more details about the rock formations, wildlife, etc, would...

The section on the Arctic circle contains much information on walls that you have to...

The museum is good and well kept. From the glass-windowed gallery you can see the sami tundra. The Norther Light's room is wonderful and the explanations are easy understandable, but very accurate.
