Since it's Lutheran it's interior is sort of bland. There's a statue of Martin Luther I'm not sure if he would approve of that, but this iconic church is well worth seeing and if you come to Helsinki you probably will see it regardless because it's right in the center of everything. More

Not that you can help it but seeing this cathedral is an experience. There is always an activity around it and it is alive. More

Looks really impressive over Senate Square, although you might argue it looks a bit like a wedding cake... Inside it doesn't have the richness of Roman Catholic or Orthodox churches. But you see it from everywhere, even from the sea if you go on any cruise. Anyway, all routes lead you there, no matter what. More

Beautiful building, very dramatic looking. A lot of steps to get to the door though. Didn't attend service as I'm not a christian. Beautiful inside too! More

The most attractive building in the city center. Towering above the Senate square, with nice view toward the sea. The cathedral is completely white, an eye catching monument with many stairs. There are always something ongoing around it, winter and summer time as well. Concerts, light shows, christmas fair etc. Very easily accessible on foot, not far from the Market... More

The "Tuomiokirkko" is the symbol of Helsinki- possibly the most famous landmark of the city. Visit it, take many pictures with it, chill on the stairs amond the local people on a sunny day. Just be warned- since it is a lutheran cathedral, there is not much to see inside :) More

Looks impressive - closed when I was there. But looking through the window of the main door not much to look at inside. More
