This is a really happening place and i just LOVED the boat market and kauppatori. I'll be damned if they didn't have crayfish, both live and boiled. I was well impressed. Tourists must go here because the rest of Helsinki is so depressing. It doesn't get any better here. The church, state and science are located here side-by-side and in the middle of it all there is this statue of a Russian dictator. This landmark houses a large square with a sizeable set of stairs leading up to the cathedral. I loved spending time sitting on the top of the stairs watching as people came and went and taking in the beauty of the cathedral's facade. Come at midday for some sun and at dusk for some interesting shadows over the buildings. More
