This tower is well worth a visit. The views are stunning over the lakes and surrounding forests and there are some great woodland walks in the area. If you are visiting Tampere, this is definitely one of the "must see" places. Tower is not so high as Näsinneula, but still you have amazing nice views from it. Also the cafeteria downstairs is excellent. Their donuts are really famous among the local people, many say that there you have the best donuts. More

We visited the observation tower in January. The weather was nice, the sky was clear and it was really beautiful. The entrance hall was too crowded, so we could not taste local doughnuts and coffeem that have been recommended to us. More

More intimate than Näsinneula tower and nice little café selling the best doughnuts in town. Pyynikki area is a must to visit during a stay at Tampere, at least in my opinion. Great views to both lakes and over the town. More
