This is the best (and original) Medieval Market in Finland. There´s free theathre shows at the market: knights, priests, merchants, old-time citicens, executioner etc. among the people. Be aware, you might be surprised!

A fun fair really, similar to the Turku X-mas market or the Turku Herring market. I best liked the overpriced grilled porkbratwursts.

So, like I said, the market is held only a stones throw away from the centrum. Not 6,9km, like it said on the info. It's REALLY a worth a visit. There are lots of actors and craftsmen dressed up in medieaval costumes displaying the crafts of the medieval times (for example soapmaking, brewing beer, blacksmith work, coinmaking etc. these things...
