Everything you could want to know about geothermal power production in a high-tech and informative display. It looked geared towards school or larger groups but we were the only two visitors at the time (late December) and received a personal explanation of how the plant operated. I knew nothing about geothermal power in Iceland before visiting this centre. It is good to learn how all of Reykjavik is heated and supplied with energy without polluting the atmosphere. One of the 5 Geothermal power plants in Iceland and open year round complete with coffee shop. Very interesting place to learn about how the hot water from 3km deep bore holes provides both hot water and electricity to Iceland's population. More
