This geysir is extremely reliable and very frequent. As I approached the geysir, I chuckled to myself because people were standing ridiculously close with their cameras fixated on the geysir. I was thinking that these people were going to be there all long time with cameras stuck to their faces. To my surprise, the geysir erupted within a few seconds... more

Watching Strokkur begin to churn and boil before blowing its top was awesome. The entire area is great to check out with the ground burping and spewing steam just about everywhere. Many great photo ops every few minutes. more

Even a bit squary as it explodes. Nice "little" geyser, a few meters away from the original geyser that gave its name to all the others fuming springs all over the planet. more
