Went in the morning trip, booked it from the harbour the day before and they offered to collect us from hotel next day free of charge. Whale watching was an excellent experience. Wear warm clothes and be patient though! As its a tour involving wild animals its unpredictable. We saw dolphins and minky whales, but it took a while and be prepared to catch glimpses rather than see them flying out of the water as per the advertising posters. absolutely loved this trip, the elding staff where excellent, told us where to park the car for free, offered free coffee and toilet facilities while we waited to go onboard, and they are certainly passionate about what they do, we were given a running commentary throughout the trip about the wild life we were seeing, saw lots of minke whales...
