Our family of 12 -- from 11 years to 75 wanted to learn about the Noway vikings and their journey to Iceland. Very interesting museum, cute gift shop and the cafe was amazing. Not a "must do", but if you have time it is worth the trip.

We met the creator of the models as we arrived as he was on door duty that day. Lovely man and was happy to chat away to us about his work and showed us lots of photos of his studio and work.

Very informative and well put together lifelike waxwork type figures in scenes depicting the history and origins of the Icelandic Nation. Many seats available to rest at many of the displays. there is a mp3 audio give at the start .
