Dand978 pretty much said it all. I've been there last week and finished looking at the exhibits in under an hour. The exhibits for the ancient viking scripts weren't available during my visit. On the 4th Floor are film exhibits with chairs for you to sit down and watch some old Iceland films, which are worth checking out. more

There are multiple exhibits here including some original sagas and a piece on Icelandic film. Both are worth checking out extensively. There is a menagerie of animals one on of the middle floors that doesn't really seem to fit in, but is still neat to look at. The price is right and the location is also central so you should... more
