I would urge anyone visiting Malta to go to Gozo and in particular, this shrine. As a Catholic, I was impressed and often, speechless while touring this shrine. My wife was awed as well and impressed, she is Baptist. It is pretty, peaceful and inspiring. Really, words on a computer cannot do it justice. Go yourself and see.... More

As someone who has visited a great deal of churches & cathedrals around Europe, this one is no different, but it is worth the visit as it commands superb views of the island and has fascinating collections of quaint offerings from pilgrims to the site. More

This church is beautiful and it would be a shame to visit Gozo and not take this in. The architecture and decoration alone is worth seeing even if you are not religious. This will be one of my treasured memories from Malta. Also take a look at the back of the church where there are hundreds of stories about miracles... More

This beautiful church is located on the halfway between Victoria and Azure Window near the town called Gharb. Although the church is rather new (built in XX century) and rather simple inside(compared to other maltese churches), it is very beautiful and impressive. I think it is one of the most interesting places in Gozo! More

You would need to drive to this destination on the Island of GOZO. On your way to the West of the Island is a town called GHARB. On your way there will be a sign for Ta'Pinu. This is on the local map as the National Shrine. This is a beautiful church in the middle of now where. The roads... More
