I would urge anyone visiting Malta to go to Gozo and in particular, this shrine. As a Catholic, I was impressed and often, speechless while touring this shrine. This church is beautiful and it would be a shame to visit Gozo and not take this in. The architecture and decoration alone is worth seeing even if you are not religious. This beautiful church is located on the halfway between Victoria and Azure Window near the town called Gharb. Although the church is rather new (built in XX century) and rather simple inside(compared to other maltese churches), it is very beautiful and impressive.
