I found these catacombs really interesting. I paid 4.66 euros and this included the audio handset (for which I had to leave a 20 euro deposit). Some people just walked straight in (the ticket shop is to one side) but they clearly didn't understand what they were seeing. The audio presentation was very interesting. more

The catacombs in Rabat are modest compared to those in Italy or France. Maybe it's the lack of stacks upon stacks of burial remains artfully arranged?
