At St. James Cavalier you feel exclusive, as though only you are in to a secret performance. More

This can be a tourist puller, but much has to be done to actually attract. More maltese original work suggested to be auctioned. More

The building is certainly worth a visit. It is incorporated into one of the two cavaliers forming part of the Valletta fortifications. The complex now houses a small theatre, cinema and other exhibition spaces. Look out for what's on. Pity the roof top is not open to the public. More

This place is worth visiting to view the building but little else. I have been many times but am usually VERY disappointed by the pointless and silly displays. Whilst I was there this time there was an exhibition of WATER! It was supposed to be Black Sea water, I think, but who knows, especially a cynic like me! It came... More

A superb renovation, a role model in how to bring a heritage building into active life. Make sure you learn of the history of the building; from the Templars to the Brits and how the new spaces relate to its history. The constantly changing programme keeps the place lively: a must see in Valetta. More

Amazing adaptation of massive historic construction to dispaly modern art, theatre, cinema worth visiting just for the stunning staircase; there is also an excellent snack bar/restaurant inside and on a terrace. More

St James Cavalier is a wonderful place, one of my favorite spots in Malta. I first visited in May and June of 2007, and then again in May 2010. I'm looking forward to returning next year. (I had to click May 2011 for when I visited because they didn't allow times more than a year ago.) There are galleries here... More
