Not as resplendent as the conventual cathedral, but wonderful in other ways. Yes, the interior needs some work, but this is a place that actually feels like it's used for worship. When I visited someone was actually polishing altar candlesticks (I've often wondered why no one ever seems to do things like dust in so many of these grand churches!).... More

Loved, loved, loved this rather smallish church!! I enjoyed reading of his travels in Acts after returning from our vacation in Malta. For me, it... More

I would visit this church before heading to the St John's co-cathedral as you might find this place underwhelming otherwise. However, I would still recommend a visit to this church as the outside belies what lies inside this church. The paintings tell a powerful and vivid story of Paul's journey to Malta. You do also get to see the golden... More

Possibly one of the most beautiful churches I have ever been in. Simply fabulous. You must find the time to seek it out and go. Its opening hours are a bit of a mystery - as is the case with lots of things, especially churches, on Malta - but do not walk past it. What is great, is that it... More

We walked into this church by accident during a High Mass, and it took our breath away. Returned the next day. More

We were there just before a major funeral so the place was buzzing but even then it is one of those places you have to visit, a wonderful place with fantasic things to see and experience. More

Well I thought it was better - it obviously doesn't have the same level of visitors (which is good) and they are in the process of cleaning and refurbing - found it very interesting and it is obviously very much still part of the local community which is always nice to know. More
