Relatively newer museum with most items related to the history of Liechtenstein. Not too big and easily navigable. Hand-held audio devices available in mutiple languages. More

Very thorough, with audio guides in several languages. Archeological, medieval, religious, modern. More

Lots to see with each exhibit having its own story. Fantastic staff. Only problem is that we had too little time to see it all. More

I didn't know much about Liechtenstein so it was good to learn a little bit of history and culture. There are English guides so understanding is very easy if you aren't fluent in German. More

We unfortunately had a limited time to visit the museum. The audioguide was helpful as most exhibits are signed in German. I found the holiday exhibit especially insightful into the culture of Liechtenstein. The staff was very helpful as well in orienting us to the museum. More

We got to stop in Liechtenstein on a tour from Switzerland and my only complaint is that I wish we had more time. We drove to Vaduz from Appenzell because the rain stopped us from hiking. My daughter and I really enjoyed the National Museum, especially the Natural History area. There are touchable displays for kids. Upstairs there was a beautiful exhibit of drawings of a renovated castle in Southern Liechtenstein. More
