Amazing ruins of this Phoenician city, its largest part though lies below the city centre's buildings. The ancient port lies some 800 meters from the nowadays sea line. Locals regularly find ancient amphora after digging in their garden. Many building projects were also cancelled after revealing ancient monuments in the soil.
