I spent an hour or so at this site, as part of my southern coast exploration in the Epsikopi area, which is mainly a tower with several floors of well maintained architecture. The highlight is the panoramic views from the top which allows the visitor to view Mount Olympus in the rear and agricultural and coastal views to the front.Well... More

One of the many castles built by the Crusaders - Richard the Lionheart, etc. Worth a visit and nicely preserved. Not far from Limassol More

In fact there is just one tower remaining. Stop there if you pass near, otherwise don't go there just for visit purpose, It does not worth the trip. More

The only negative comment i would make is that, in the past, there was so little information so we really weren't sure what we were looking at....would have loved to know more, but maybe that's all changed now. Still worth a visit. More

Maybe i'm spoilt being from England where we've got more old castles than we know what to do with! It's fine and you can potter about at your leisure and climb up the old stairs, but you'll not manage to make the visit last more than an hour. Do pop in though if you're keen on history! More
