The guy who served us the wines for the free tasting was nice and friendly -- and you can't argue with free. It was also nice to find a clean bathroom after hiking in the hills nearby.
However, the museum shouldn't really be called that because it's simply a large room with several figures of people in various stages of...

the lady was very welcoming.offering wine tasting and cheeses with soft breads and olives. you must NOT leave here unless you've bought a bottle of Commandiria.
It has nice wines and they have free wine testing too! their small museum is nice as well although not really special!
We came across this little winery when we decided to hire a car on the one really raining day of our week, as we were parking the wind blew the door open to the museum and an old lady beckoned us in. We were directed to a cellar and the museum then given several small samples of some of the...

Really interesting free visit. The guys there just want to tell you their story and show you how it used to be when Cyprus wasn't a tourist destination. Yes they like you to buy a little wine but are no-way pushsy. Nice FREE wine tasting session. - Not good for drivers. Well worth searching out, just inland a mile or...

You get pointed towards a cellar, then pointed towards what can only be described as a crappy museum, then you're given some olives, foccacia bread and 5 wines to taste, followed by some turkish delight and ouzo shots. Absolutely nobody there in March which was fine by me, as soon as we entered we were asked if we lived here or were tourists!
This made me chuckle as I've read the previous reviews of how...

Definitely worth a visit to hear about this family run business. Friendly welcome and good wine tasting but can be a little cramped in summer when lots of tourists are about.
the wine was good and the tastings were generous; a fairly small operation but well-organised, the cave cellars very chilly, and lovely views.- the road is a bit rough.
