So pleased I went to see this fabulous site, it is by far the best I have visited. Allow a good half day to take this huge site in. There are an incredible number of fantastic mosaics depicting ancient mythological and hunting scenes, in addition to the well kept low level remains of ancient buildings - an absolute must see....

Really enjoyed seeing the mosaics and the ruins, there were pieces everywhere. We found that there was too much to see in one visit so we went back the next day. would have gotten in for free if we still had our tickets. we were told that the tickets may be valid for 24 hours but anyone going to visit...

This is a must see if you are staying in Cyprus anywhere near Paphos. Huge intact very well persevered Roman mosaics and parts of the Roman buildings complete with streets covering a huge area. a short stroll from the buzs of the sea front yet feels like time travel. Excellent,ruins of old palace and amphitheatre. Thoroughly recommended except over lunchtime as sun too strong (although the main mosaics are covered)

We visited here early morning in May, it gets very hot and there isnt much shade about so I wouldnt recommend it as something to do midday!
The quality of the mosaics were amazing especially the ones which are now preserved under a shelter. It is amazing to see how they have survived.
