The gardens themselves are very nice. Lots of plants and trees set high on a cliff overlooking the Rock and the bay. Find the entrance to the cave that goes deep into the cliff. They open the access every hour or so and it is worth the climb down.

The medieval village of Eze is a charming maze of narrow streets topped by the Exotic Garden. Well worth every one of the 6 euro entrance for the most spectacular views over the Cote d'Azur. Just don't leave your camera in the car - it's a long walk back to get it!
My favourite attraction of my weekend visit to Monte Carlo and I'm no gardener!. I loved the colours and the variety and size of the cacti and succulents. Beautifully laid out with windy paths and viewpoints over Monaco and the Riviera. I also went on the tour into the grotto to see the limestone formations and popped into the small...

This is truly an amazing garden of cacti and succulent plants nestle in an amazing setting on a rock cliff overlooking the French Riviera. Bridges and pathways cut a trail among unusual succulents, every turn give you a different view of Monaco from high above. We took lots of pictures and enjoy this place tremendously.
Unfortunately we are tight on...

Greatest collection of cactus species anywhere.................................................................
Mesmerising! Not what I expected. Plants are huge, amazing and beautiful, you can feel like in a different world with them surrounding you. You can feel almost lost between them (but you really won't, there's basically one path leading down with a few blind alleys or steps for a shortcut). For plants lover, you will spend a lot of time...

I did not have much time to spend in Monaco, but I thought it could be interesting to see the Jardin Exotique.
I would say there is not much exotique about, unless you like to see a cactus or two, because that was a vast majority of the plants in the garden. I was honestly not impressed by it, because...

I try only to review attraction that offer something not available elsewhere and this garden fits firmly in this category. In Monaco I expected to find fast cars, beautiful people and lots of buildings. This exotic garden (and caves) were a real surprise.
I've visited lots of gardens but never seen anything like the cactus specimens they have here. They...

I was a little put off at first about having to pay 4 euros to enter, but I'm so happy I did. I went when it was a little chilly, so if you go in the winter prepare for that. You are very high on top of a mountain afterall. But, I've heard that it's a perfect place to bring...

High above the coast is a lovely area of cacti plants where every corner provides a photo opportunity! There are a few seats and it was nice to take a breather and just admire the view. However the best part of the trip was the visit to the underground caves which are included in the 7 euro ticket price. They...
