Just stand outside and look at the building. The rooms are empty and unless you need to be within in the walls where the great composer was born its not worth the euros. more
I really enjoyed the museum but I think, to get the best handle on and appreciation for this place, one must have a knowledge of the man and his work. The house is nice, being so old and where Mozart was born, but as a tour is not worth it. You get to pay €6 to see 3 rooms filled with paintings of the Mozart family, an old piano and some of Mozart's stuff (a ring, some hair, a button of his etc.) I was disappointed. more
The tour was dull, the house itself was the only nice part. They have the kitchen of the house set in its original furniture and era.
