Really nice design of the railways, the funicular, the bridge over the Inn river. Nice to use, and nice to take pics of!

If you go to Innsbruck - you must do this trip! It's designed by the Zaha Hadid & it is really a remarkable piece of architecture & an experience to be enjoyed. The trip will take you through the city, over the river, & up the mountain overlooking the delights of Innsbruck. We went in December & stopped off at... More

The Cable Railways gives you a nice view from the city and the Alps. During the ski season you can also quickly reach some of the ski lanes. You have many different platforms so when buying the tickets remember to choose properly

When the weather is fine, a ride on the cable railway is a pleasant way to spend an hour and Euro 6. Note that if you want to take the gondola up the mountain, the cost is Euro 40 ....... so best bring your skiis.

The new area for relaxation at Seegrub plus the ice museum are something not to be missed. Take the train Innsbrucks only 'underground'and both cable cars to the top of Seegrub. The cheapest way is to use an Innsbruck card(24,36 or 72 hours) one trip will more than cover the cost
