The place has character, to be sure. We were never there late, or when it was too crowded, so we don't know how it is when the party has started. Unfortunately, you can smoke at the bar, which is close to some of the tables. Otherwise, there is a glass-walled area for the smokers.

Typical 'pub' but with waitress service at your table for drinks and very useful when it became very busy. Once the band came on the mood just hyped, great duo 'Short and Curlies' who really got the place rocking. they have a live band every day between 5-7pm which was great fun and the bar staff was excellent. Later on the crowd was very young.

this is a nice and popular place but we were disappoined by the unwelcoming service. Much preferred the Stamperl on the other side of the road, both for service and for entertainment value
