The tour was very good - audio self tour, however, there were so many large groups with tour guides talking over the hand held audio that it was sometimes hard to hear your own hand set. It was beautifully done and the gardens are a WOW factor.
Try early in the morning (like when they first open) and it will be all the nicer. We bought a public transportation pass for Vienna that had discounts available on it. Well worth it! We were able to purchase right from our hotel reception. And all the restaurants on the grounds here were outstanding.

We had a short walk through the Gardens (the free access area) and they...
