A nice quirky style that should be easy on the eye, BUT (unusally for Vienna), it is, dirty, badly maintained, largely concealed by trees and ivy and just really not worth the trouble when there's so much else to see. The souvenir shops seem better looked after.

It is so different to all the grand palaces & fine buildings. The place has character & brings a smile to the face. Well worth a quick visit - take the No.1 tram.
