If you want to spend a day visiting museums this is the right place. There are nice restourants so you don't have to worry about food.

This is a great spot to grab a few drinks. It's very close to the University and as such has a lot of art students hanging out in the courtyard near the Leoplod museum. It's a very nice spot to spend a sunny day.

It's Vienna, so of course this quarter is sweeping with grand, majestic, impressive buildings. Be prepared to do a lot of walking but it's worth it, the surrounding area is just pretty with gardens, nice walking paths. Make a day of it and hit up the museums then sit outside on nice weather days and relax. Vienna has fantastic summers... More

There is lots to see and do here, in a fairly compact area. It`s a shame about the 2 hideous new buildings, though: the Leopold and especially the Mumok do not blend at all with the rest. How on earth did they get past the planning authorities?

The Leopold Museum is located in the MuseumsQuartier. This museum contains the art collection of Rudolf and Elisabeth Leopold. I enjoyed seeing three of Gustav Klimt’s paintings there, which were the Italian Garden, Personage Garden, and Apple Tree. His Death and Life was very good too. I did not enjoy too much the work of Egon Schiele. I enjoyed Theodor... More

The museums are great and the main square is the liveliest part of the city. Young people everywhere, nice place to enjoy a beer whilst watching the people around.

the glory of the empire can be seen in it's collection. The emperors did have a very exquisite taste for their collections

Former Messegelande turned into "museum town" right in the centre of Vienna. Great wax to spend a day in Vienna!
