I was worried that I would miss the steam train on its 1215 departure from Vikersund station. The connecting Norweigan State Railways train was deviated due to trackwork, and at Drammen I had to travel by taxi for quite a few kilometres. I arrived at Vikersund too late: the steam tourist train had left, but a most obliging young volunteer... more
