We did the snow mobiles. We were collected by bus in Tromso and taken to the site. The scenery on route was beautiful. The driver stopped at a petrol station 15 minutes out so people could use toilets and buy supplies (drinks/chocolate). There are toilets on site, but I cannot comment on as I did not use. There was a... More

Slick arrangements meant we travelled in a comfortable coach to Camp Tomok and were soon dressed in the thermal overalls and boots provided, ready for our dog-sledding adventure! Well, we started off well but soon realised that this is not an activity for the faint-hearted! You're hurtling through a wooded area with resultant exposed tree stumps, rocks, etc. in the... More

Just got back home to the UK from a magical stay in Tromso.Took on a Northern Lights trip and what a night. After a minibus drive of around 90 minutes we arrived at our destination deep in the wilderness. We all got kitted out in warm snow suits and boots and the guide helped us all with our camera settings... More

We were in Norway for a four day trip and booked dog-sledding & reindeer sledding with Lynsfjord adventure. We were picked up from Tromso and 80 mins later arrived at Lynsfjord adventure camp , the staff were extremely welcoming & after a while had us all kitted-out in warm clothing & boots . We were divided into our groups two... More

For keen photographers I would definitely recommend the Northern Lights walk with Lyngsfjord Adventure. Our guide was really friendly and helpful (I think his name was Roy) and we were able to capture some fantastic photos of the Northern Lights as activity was exceptionally good that night. The evening finished with a very tasty fish stew at the Camp and... More

We booked two tours with this company. The first was snowmobiles. My husband rang them in the morning to ascertain it was not too dangerous, We had done this already in Heta so we knew it could be fast. They told him is was okay for all ages. The briefing was about five minutes long. helmets were fitted and off... More

We went on a self driven husky sled tour and a northern lights evening walk / photographic tour. This was all on the same day and we hung around in between whilst most of the morning group returned to Tromso, and before the afternoon group arrived. We enjoyed the Sami lavuu (tent) and the fire, good company and snow sledding... More

We would thoroughly recommend this as is a great adventure for all ages. Pick and mix what you want to do - dog sledding, snow mobile riding, snow shoeing, cross country skiing... and great views of the Northern Lights. Camp Tamok is well away from any light pollution, so the night sky view is brilliant. You can do day trips... More

The trip started with a timely collection from Tromso on a very comfortable coach. On arrival at camp there's the chance to use toilet facilities with running water, which was a surprise as you really are out in the middle of no-where! From there you're taken to the changing rooms to get into your warm suit and boots. Both these... More
