I was most pleasantly surprised at the excellence of the beers brewed and sold here. Mein Host, advised us as to the characteristics of each brew all of which, bar one, were sampled. The exception was the one that they distribute throughout the rest of the country and which he thought was a bit inferior!!

Great selection of different beers in the Artic Circle. A great bar with friendly bar afterwards, Pity it is so expensive!!!

We didn't do the brewery tour but did have a couple of pints in the bar. By far the best beer in Norway!

Go try their limited edition pilsner " 1877". If you could spare 1 hour,do tour their brewery tour held daily at 130pm.

We didn't know what to expect with this, but I didn't find it interesting and found the staff quite cold and unfriendly and the beer prices in the pub were more expensive than anywhere else we drank in Tromso.

We did not do the tour of the brewery as it cost almost £20 per person so we opted for a drink in the Bar attached to the brewery. It is an old bar worth a visit even if a Cola costs £4! By the way the bear is a stuffed polar bear in the bar.

Lots of character - not cheap but very welcoming and the locals are great.
