Very interesting place. Nice to have an opera you can actually walk on it. Was not at the perfOrmance. Just enjoyed architecture and loved it. Hope the surroundings soon would be fixed as it is a great place for view without view yet

Wonderful place, views are constantly changing as you walk on the sloping plaza, spaces inside are great. To architecture buffs, there is a good back-of-house tour for 100 NOK, students 60 NOK. There are always inexpensive tickets to shows for 100 NOK as well.
Acoustic is to die for, seating could be better. Take your time and look around, enjoy it while you can.
a futuristic building and if the sound qaulity is anything like the looks of the building it will be fantastic

what a wonderful building, simply amazing. If you have time available, do the guided tour it is fantastic. Even better take in a performance.

We visited here twice during a 5 day stay in Olso both times during late afternoon when the sun was out. Its a fantastic building and the walk and views from the roof are great.
The Oslo Opera House is well worth a visit. The inside, with all the wood, is beautiful. The most spectacular thing is to walk on the roof, however. The weather was perfect for our visit and it was really magical. Please visit!!
