This museum is worth the trip. Very thoughtfully lays out Norway's experience under Hitler's occupation and brave men and woman who were part of the resistance movement.

well done however with the caveat that I speak and read Norwegian. despite going to school in Norway I learned a lot more from the museum than I did from any books. a transparent presentation that seeks to show actual events without embellishment. If you've any interest in history this is a must, if you can plan and call ahead...

This is an interesting museum with many interactive exhibits . Unfortunately much of it is in Norwegian although brief English descriptions are included. Interesting history which is little known I suspect, listing the trials of the people during occupation and the efforts of the English supported resistance who risked their lives on a daily basis
Take a closer look at the norwegian resistance during WW 2. Fantastic photos and documents. Maybe a little to small with narrow aisles. 1700 building.
well documented review of norwegian activities during the occupation by the nazis. The human resources of the museum are also very efficient and give good service
Partially hidden in akershus festning (it's central, near the fjord) is this great little museum.
Fantastic museum, plan to spend some time there if you really want to appreciate it, its a small house on the outside but it goes underground too, well worth it.

Vast of time! Why not go to the Munch museum in stead!
This was a wonderfully laid out museum in Oslo. Very educational as I had never known that Norway was occupied by Nazi Germany during the war. Lots of read about and see in both English and Norwegian. Well worth the admission. It takes about 45 minutes to see everything. Easy to navigate and walk through. I highly recommend seeing it...
