Superb museum including some of the rafts and boats used to sail the Pacific. Good detailed hsitory with lots of visuals and exhibits

I've read about the Kon-TIki when I was like 12 years old. The story behind this float still is fascinating and I was expecting quite a bit, when visiting this museum. a great chance to see the actual Ra II used by Thor Heyerdahl and to read all about his various adventures . Great place to be in . Very inspiratonal

Really enjoyed seeing the Kon Tiki, and watching the film about it. Read Heyerdahl's book as a kid and it made a lasting impression. As a bonus, there is also the Ra reed boat that one can see. There is info about Heyerdahl and his work as both an environmentalist and a multi-culturalist. The world needs more like him.

Featuring two rafts Ra and Kon-Tiki and some other artifacts from the trips made on those rafts. If you have spare time why not visit this museum.

I found it disappointing.. I think it's more for kids..
