On the outskirts of urban Oslo is this museum filled with technical goodies, both new and old (but mostly old). Kids will love it, as will adults. Admission isn't free like the cultural museums in Oslo are.

It's massive! Amazing. Go along for a few hours and you'll have loadsa fun :)

I'm a bit more interested in Technology than average, but it is possible for almost anyone to really enjoy this Place.

This is a very hands-on museum. A lot of demos in the fields of everything from physics to musical recordings, mirror rooms and heat cameras. Lots of fun for kids, too, with an especially designed area for exploring mystical things . The cafeteria is a bustling experience with reasonable food.

This museum was the best attraction in Oslo if not the best in the Nordic region. We spent about 3 hours there and could have stayed longer. There is a little bit for everyone. A lot to see. Enjoyable for kids at all ages! Great activity for rainy days!

Take the tram or the train (Gjøvikbanen). Lots of activities for children and things to see. They have a gift shop and a basic snack bar.

Exciting and entertaining. Nice and interesting exhibitions. Visit the museum store, lots of funny gadgets !
