I am not into Skiing, and we went in June ( summer). Even then could help but get impressed with this structure. can only imagine people jumping over in winter.The view of Oslo / Fjords is great from here. Wish to see the Live Action some time.

I'm not the least bit interested in skiing, but the structure itself is impressive. It's easy to get to on the Metro, and it's a nice ride up there. Definitely worth doing if you have the time. You can take the same subway line further to Frognerseteren, where you get some nice views across the city.

Quite far from the city center, but worth the trip. It is a steep climb and may be too far for the elderly to walk, but take your time and you'll be rewarded with wonderful views of Oslo!

Probably the best view over Oslo and the Fjord. Splendidly sited close to the Wilderness of NordMarka.

From Holmenkollen you can see the entire city of Oslo. Great cafes and walking areas also.

I went here to check out a ski competition. It was really cool to see the ski jumpers and cross country skiing and the views were amazing. We went for the FIS Nordic World Cup and all I can say is WOW! The jump itself is so impressive and the people so welcoming. We particularly like the traditional dancing and the spectators having a great time. Also the views of Oslo and the fjord are breathtaking. Brilliant day out

Went to the World Snowboarding Championship when they had the quarterpipe finals. Great view of everything. Organic hamburgers for sale!
