This is a museum with lots of history regarding Bergen as a hanseatic city and should be visited. It is a small museum, and 1-2 hours is more than enough to get through it

Well preserved house with excellent representation in a sucession of rooms on how life would have been. Lots of historic information.

We arrived at the last minute but staff very accommodating. Fascinating view of life at that time, fish processing and conditions for staff. Well worth a visit

Well done recreation of a Hanseatic trader's warehouse/office and living quarters. I would have liked a little more history/context on the rise and fall of the Hanseatic League.
