Bargain the price to get good deals for souvenirs. There are also other stuffs that they sell along the road.

tanjung bungah markets operate on a tuesday night.they are truely local with plenty of fresh food and of course a food hall for meals.getting there is easy if you are stay in the area if not the bus will drop you off and the service is quite good.the stall holders are for more friendlier than those down at the beach...

Finish your shopping at Tanjan Bunga, & Berjaha. . Head fo the food stalls and share all the varied delights of typical Penang food

An opinion in English!
Considering the number of condominiums going up in the area, the Fruit/Vegetable/Meat/Fish Market and Food Centre at Tanjung Bungah is little used by non-locals. That is a pity because prices are extremely competitive to other markets - where the ex-patriate effect drives up everything.
O.K., it is a bit rough and ready, but it is extensive...
