Easy to get to the beach, which makes you realise how huge the cliffs are. I grew up in an area with acid soils, so flint and chalk are fascinating to me.

Just a walk along from Beachy Head is where you can get the best views of the Beachy Head lighthouse as well as the Belle Tout the cliff edge is sheer and you need to walk with care as it is not fenced. Beautiful views out to sea.

To be that close to coastal erosion and feel safe was a real experience - it makes you think about how real and 'live' the environment is, The actual place does not look pretty but is well worth a visit as it shows what the elements do to the coastline - amazing to think that houses can just fall in... Not Bad if you live close but not worth spending the day as nothing much to see

Great place to vist it is a National Trust site so charges do apply to parking they have on site cafe and toilets as well as beach access and a great view along the coast

I was expecting more, probably because out of season seemed to be full of people shouting and painting tables and chairs
